Women's Ministries
“Women's Ministries ” is the name adopted to describe all the women members of
LCBC when organized ministries to women were formed in 1993. The name identifies
us as belonging to Christ, thus Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the
promise of God to Abraham through covenant relationship by faith (Gal. 3:29).
The Women's Ministries Board exists within the women’s
body at LCBC as a ministry dedicated to discovering and developing the
spiritual gifts of women, and exercising them in order to equip and unite all
women of our church for the building up of the Body of Christ, that we may
offer an acceptable service with reverence and awe (Eph. 4:11-13 and Heb.
12:28).
The purpose of this group of women is to organize, lead and conduct women’s
ministries to the church and community based on scriptural principles, carried
out through the following steps:
Many opportunities for service exist. If you are a
female member of LCBC and would like to explore a particular ministry, or feel
God is calling you to lead in an area not yet organized, we welcome you to
contact any board member or attend a board meeting and share your
desires.
